*** POINTS UPDATED THRU 8/08/2015 ***
We will be having a points race every Saturday during the month of August!
August 15, 2015 - First Time Winners In All Classes At Wilkesboro Dragway
Charles Cook (Top ET), Michael Hager (Modified ET), and Allen Watson (Street) all etched their name on the Wilkesboro Dragway Race of Champions race later in the year by besting all comers and taking home the wins.
Cook met up with and defeated Kevin Wideman. Tommy Rhymer met the same fate when he faced Michael Hager in Modified ET. Watson faced and bested the 2014 WD Street Champion Debbie Trivette.
This weekend at NC's oldest dragstrip, Wilkesboro Dragway, it's all about points and grudges!
Thursday night starts things off with the ever popular Test N Tune night where for only $10 you can watch the pro's as well as race your friends!
Saturday night with only 3 points races left, you can bet the racers will on their best game to try to gain those valuable points toward the 2015 track champions.
In Top ET, Mitchell McKinney has a scant lead on Jr. Hodges and Mitchell's Father, former WD track Champion Clyde McKinney.
Modified ET Has a familiar face at the front, 2014 track champion Phillip Harrison is trying to go back to back but there are 7 other drivers right behind him trying to take it away.
In Street, it's Catlyn Shannon's championship to lose, but the rest of the top 10 is anybody's guess.
Along with the points series the Streetcar Shootout will be on hand. If you like speed and pro tree streetcar racing you want to make plans to be there!
